Jared & Jensen are on board for Season 6 of Supernatural, but will it happen?

Supernatural fans rejoice! Stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki told fans at UK’s Asylum 3 in Birmingham, that they are both on-board for another season as the Winchester boys. Fans at Asylum 3 greeted the news with screams of joy and a deafening round of applause.Some folks worried that a sixth season would change the characters, especially since the creator Eric Kripke isn’t contracted for a sixth season (and said in an EW article that he doesn’t want to do one). But Jensen confirmed that he and Jared both have six year contracts, meaning if CW opts to do season 6, both Jenson and Jared would be in it. Now all CW has to do is convince Kripke to come back for one more season. But that may be a tough sell. Kripke says he’s done.It seems that the actors, fans and studio hotshots are all keen to see the show go on. Jared stated: “Season four has had the best viewing figures we’ve ever seen and it just seems to be on an upward curve so the studio’s really keen to see more.” Padalecki hinted that the relationship between the Winchester brothers would heal as a result of the revelations in the season five finale, but don’t expect Sam to stop being dark ‘n’ demonic. Padalecki says Sam couldn’t stay “the good brother” forever.
